The decision has been made! Lara Gut-Behrami is ending her career!

After the Swiss skier suffered a severe knee injury in November 2025, there will be no comeback.

"After careful consideration, I have come to the conclusion that I no longer want to return to the race slopes," she told "Blue" and "RSI".

Three Olympic Medals - Two World Championship Titles

After three Olympic medals (1x gold, 2x bronze), the 35-year-old is hanging up her skis. She also won two World Championship titles and two overall World Cup globes.

Gut-Behrami celebrated 24 Super-G victories, and won the small globe in this discipline six times – more often than any other female skier.

She also stood at the top in giant slalom in the 2023/24 season. In total, she celebrated 48 World Cup victories across all disciplines.
