It could have been worse!

Swedish ski hopeful Cornelia Öhlund suffered a heavy fall during giant slalom training in Schnalstal, South Tyrol.

The 21-year-old took off at high speed and landed in the safety net, even taking out two coaches with her.

"I literally flew through the air"

"I literally flew through the air, hit my head and shoulder, and then crashed directly into the net. I lost both my skis and also took out a few coaches along the way, so that wasn't exactly the greatest fun," Öhlund described the scene in a video from the Swedish Ski Federation (SSF).

The Swede suffered a concussion and bruises to her shoulder, back, and neck. However, according to the Swedish federation, nothing was dislocated or torn.

Sölden Start Planned

Öhlund even plans to compete at the World Cup opener in Sölden next weekend.

"I'm feeling better every day and I'm looking forward to the race season," the 21-year-old wrote on Instagram, thanking her physiotherapists and coaches for their support. "See you in Sölden."
