Good News: Reinbacher set for NHL season debut
The Austrian international is set to play his first National Hockey League game of the season against Buffalo.
Positive news surrounding David Reinbacher.
As announced by the Montreal Canadiens via "X", the Austrian international will make his season debut in the NHL tonight.
The Canadiens will face the Buffalo Sabres on Sunday (from 1:00 AM ET).
In late September, the Canadian franchise announced that Reinbacher did not make the NHL cut. He was sent to their farm team in Laval. Last Wednesday, the 21-year-old was nevertheless added to the NHL roster because another defender, Mike Matheson, was sidelined.
