A Statement of Intent? Franjo von Allmen Also Focuses on Giant Slalom
The Swiss athlete is evidently increasing his focus on his Giant Slalom turns in training. How many races he will appear in this winter remains open.
Franjo von Allmen is now also looking to make his mark in Giant Slalom!
On Instagram, he posted a video showing him in training. Below it, he writes "Putting work into GS". He is evidently also working on being able to compete in the technical discipline.
Most recently, the Swiss athlete told "Blick" that he would only compete in Giant Slalom if it fit into the speed calendar and the level was right. His participation therefore remains open for now.
A GS Start Last Season
Last winter, he tried his hand at this discipline in March. In Sun Valley, he was eliminated in the first run.
The World Cup already starts on October 25th with a Giant Slalom in Sölden. The first speed race takes place on November 28th in Copper Mountain.
