"How long until Levi?": Ryding jokes about World Cup return
The 39-year-old ended his career after the Olympic Games. Now he's sparking smiles with an Instagram post.
"It's like riding a bike... How long is it until Levi?"
With these words, Dave Ryding is bringing smiles to his fans. On Instagram, he also posted a video showing him between small gates in the Manchester ski hall.
Comeback Ruled Out
For a brief moment, there was hope for a comeback in the ski circus, but the Brit quickly made it clear that it wouldn't happen. "I'm joking, I'm almost 40," he added.
The 39-year-old ended his career after the Olympic Games. He competed in his last race in Bormio, finishing 17th in the slalom. In total, he competed in 143 World Cup races. In 2022, he celebrated victory in the legendary Kitzbühel slalom.
The new ski season begins on October 25 with the giant slalom in Sölden. The first slalom will follow on November 15 in Levi.
