Derby Winners! KAC Dominates VSV
The Klagenfurt team clearly defeats the Villach team in the Carinthian Derby.
EC KAC continues to go from strength to strength!
The Klagenfurt team clearly defeats Villacher SV 6:1 in the Carinthian Derby in the third round of the win2day ICE Hockey League. With this, KAC celebrates its third consecutive victory. Salzburg and Pustertal were previously defeated.
The hosts got off to a perfect start, taking an early lead with a double strike from Sablattnig (3rd) and Waschnig (8th).
Petersen extended the lead to 3:0 shortly after (15th), before Metzler could at least briefly offer some hope for VSV (22nd).
A Clear-Cut Affair
But even after that, the Red Jackets picked up the pace again and solidified the result with goals from Hundertpfund (29th), St. Denis (35th), and Sablattnig (60th).
While KAC remains flawless, VSV suffers its first defeat of the young ICE season. The Pioneers were previously defeated away from home.
