With his victories in Wengen and Kitzbühel, he quickly made the leap to the world elite. In the speed disciplines, he was Marco Odermatt's biggest challenger last season. Now the competitors become brandmates.
As the 25-year-old Italian announced on Instagram on Wednesday, he is now a Red Bull athlete. In a reel, he unboxed and presented his new helmet. "Some helmets give you protection, others give you wings," he wrote under the post.
At Red Bull, he strengthens the brand's skiing lineup, which includes, among others, three-time Olympic champion Franjo von Allmen and Lindsey Vonn, alongside Odermatt.
