Haudum scores second season goal in another defeat
The Upper Austrian gets on the scoreboard again, but cannot avert the defeat.
Lukas Haudum scored his second goal of the season in the Finnish Liiga as TPS Turku suffered a 2-4 defeat to Kiekko-Espoo.
The Austrian forward pushed the puck over the line in the 51st minute after a scramble in front of the net. His team had already been trailing 0-4, partly due to the opening goal by former Salzburg player Connor Corcoran, assisted by former KAC forward Mathias From.
Roughly a minute after the score became 1-4, Jeremi Virtanen reduced the deficit to two goals (52nd minute), but TPS ultimately left the ice as losers. Haudum recorded seven shots on goal, won 47.6 percent of his faceoffs, and played 18:38 minutes.
In the standings, TPS Turku slips to tenth place.
