Another defeat! 99ers fall to Pustertal
The Graz team also loses their second seasonal clash against the Wolves. Even an equalizer in the final period is not enough.
The Graz99ers suffer a 1:4 home defeat against HC Pustertal in the sixth round of the win2day ICE Hockey League.
The Graz team created more chances in a goalless first period. However, the "Wolves" then played much more effectively and celebrated the first goal.
Alain Lobis shot the puck into the net after a rebound off the boards behind the goal, giving Pustertal a 1-0 lead (32.).

However, the Graz team only needed two minutes in the third period for the equalizer.
Nick Swaney scored after a magnificent solo effort and brought the 99ers back into the game (42.). However, the "Wolves" reclaimed the lead. JC Lipon beat G99 goalie Nicolas Wieser with a screened shot for a 2-1 lead for HCP (52.).
Additionally, Lipon also notched a brace with a shot into the far corner (55.). Finally, Gunnarwolfe Fontaine buried the puck into the net for the 4-1 final score (57./SH).
HC Pustertal is in sixth place after their third win in the fourth game of the season. The 99ers are only eighth with seven points from six games.
