In her career's very first tournament, the Russian celebrates the title. The teenager is the youngest WTA winner in seven years.

A new star in the tennis sky!

At 16 years old, Kristina Liutova from Russia competes in her first professional WTA tournament and immediately claims the title.

The rising Russian can celebrate at the WTA 250 tournament in Memphis after sensational performances.

In the final, Liutova defeated Czech Darin Vidmanova (WTA-114) with scores of 1:6, 6:1, and 6:3.

Youngest WTA Winner in Seven Years

The Russian thus rewards herself for an outstanding tournament week and also writes tennis history. Liutova is now the youngest winner of a WTA tournament in seven years.

US star Coco Gauff secured her first of eleven tournament victories to date in October 2019 at the final in Linz, at just 15 years old.
