Grabher Routs ÖTV Colleague in Amstetten
The experienced Vorarlberg native decisively wins the Kitzbühel rematch against Ekaterina Perelygina. Arabella Koller is out.
Julia Grabher has reached the round of 16 at the Ladies Open Amstetten.
The Vorarlberg native gave her eleven-year younger compatriot Ekaterina Perelygina no chance, winning 6:1, 6:0. It was a rematch of their Kitzbühel encounter, where Grabher also won 7:5, 6:3.
This time, the match was one-sided, with Grabher breaking Perelygina in all her service games. The Russian-born player's only game came from a break. In the next round, she awaits Iva Primorac (WTA-454.) from Croatia.
For Arabella Koller, however, the home tournament ended in the first round. The 25-year-old lost to the second-seeded Serb Teodora Kostovic with scores of 4:6, 0:6.
