Defending champion Jannik Sinner is once again in the Wimbledon final!

The 24-year-old South Tyrolean secured a clear straight-sets victory with 6:4, 6:4, 6:4 against veteran Novak Djokovic in the semi-final.

Sinner proved ice-cold in the decisive moments, leaving little to chance himself.

Sinner with the Decisive Breaks

The match started very evenly. Both players initially held their service games relatively comfortably. At 4:4, Sinner struck for the first time, securing the crucial break. He then comfortably served out the game to take the first set.

The second set presented a similar picture. Again, both players held their service games, but this time Sinner secured the decisive break to win the set at 3:3.

Sinner in the Final Against Zverev

In the final set, the Italian delivered the decisive blow early. He managed to break the Serb's very first service game.

Shortly after, Djokovic had his first break point of the match, but he couldn't convert it, allowing Sinner to claim the final set with his first match point, 6:4.

In Sunday's final (5:00 PM in the Live Ticker>>>), Sinner will face French Open champion Alexander Zverev for his second title on the hallowed grass. The 39-year-old Djokovic, however, must continue to wait for his eighth title in London.
