Things are getting serious at Wimbledon! On Friday, the first men's semifinal is on the schedule – local hero Arthur Fery challenges Alexander Zverev (from 2:30 PM in the LIVE ticker >>>).

The 23-year-old Brit Fery sensationally reached the semifinals with a 6:4, 7:6 (4), 6:0 victory over Flavio Cobolli. The world No. 114 grew up not far from the All England Club and entered the main draw thanks to a wildcard.

Zverev (ATP No. 3) is in the Wimbledon semifinals for the first time. In the quarterfinals, the German defeated bogeyman Taylor Fritz (ATP No. 7/USA) 6:4, 6:4, 6:2.
