Out in the Quarter-Finals! Neumayer Loses to German
The Salzburg native loses to the ATP world No. 235 in straight sets.
The Challenger tournament in Trieste is over for Lukas Neumayer.
The 23-year-old was defeated by Henri Squire, the ATP world No. 235, with a score of 6-2, 6-3.
After 1 hour and 25 minutes, the German converted his first match point. Neumayer ran out of energy towards the end. Of the last ten points in the match, only one went to the Lower Austrian.
Neumayer is thus eliminated in the quarter-finals. Previously, he had knocked out Andrej Nedic from Bosnia-Herzegovina in round one and Guido Justo from Argentina in round two.
