US Open today: Tagger challenges doubles defending champion
Together with multi-Grand Slam winner Sara Errani, Lilli Tagger faces the tournament's second-seeded doubles pair. LIVE updates:
After her second-round exit in the singles competition, Lilli Tagger is still in action in the doubles at the US Open 2026.
There, the 18-year-old from Tyrol has also reached the second round. Alongside 39-year-old Sara Errani, Tagger will face Gabriela Dabrowski/Luisa Stefani (CAN/BRA) on Saturday – starting around 10:00 PM in the LIVE ticker >>>
The opponents are seeded number two in Flushing Meadows. Dabrowski is also the defending champion, having already won the US Open twice with Erin Routliffe.
But Errani is also very experienced, boasting six Grand Slam doubles titles (including the US Open 2012) as well as four in mixed doubles.
The match is scheduled as the fourth game of the day (from 5 PM) on Court 11.
