However, the 27-year-old Austrian faces a big hurdle: His opponent is Argentine Tomas Martin Etcheverry, currently world No. 31 in the ATP rankings.
The match will take place as the third game of the day on Center Court.
While Etcheverry had a bye in the first round, Rodionov first successfully fought his way through qualification and then convincingly defeated compatriot Joel Schwärzler in straight sets in round one.
The last encounter between Rodionov and Etcheverry was in 2023 at the clay-court Challenger in Aix-en-Provence – a match that the Austrian won in three sets.
