First AFLE loss! Vikings lose to Panthers
The Vikings lead at halftime, but the visitors win the game at Sport-Club-Platz.
The Vienna Vikings suffer their first defeat in their tenth appearance in the American Football League AFLE.
On Saturday, the Viennese were defeated 31:34 by Panthers Wroclaw in the top-of-the-table clash at Sport-Club-Platz in Hernals in front of 4,125 spectators. At halftime, the Vikings led 28:20.
Nevertheless, the Vikings are still the top team in the league, and before the semi-final matches, they still face duels with the Alpine Rams from Biel (SUI/August 15) and Berlin Thunder (August 22).
