Another move for Dennis Schröder

The Charlotte Hornets are acquiring point guard Dennis Schröder from the Cleveland Cavaliers. In return, guard Tre Mann is changing teams. This was announced by sources familiar with the matter.

The source spoke to The Associated Press on Friday on condition of anonymity because both teams had not yet officially confirmed the trade. Schröder will serve as the backup point guard behind Coby White for the Hornets. Charlotte had traded LaMelo Ball to the Minnesota Timberwolves at the beginning of the season as part of a larger overhaul.

Already the twelfth franchise

For the 32-year-old German, it is the twelfth franchise of his career; he has already been traded for the ninth time. Schröder has career averages of 13.7 points and 4.9 assists.

Mann played 53 games for Charlotte last season, averaging 5.5 points.
