Attack with Super-sub as LASK's Trump Card

In the Upper Austria derby against SV Ried, LASK's offense was red-hot. Alongside the top duo, a super-sub also proved his importance for the team.

With a 4-1 win against SV Ried, LASK warmed up for the Champions League qualification playoff. Even without Sasa Kalajdzic, the Linzers' attack is capable of scoring goals.

Moses Usor was the outstanding man of the evening with one goal and two assists. The 24-year-old Nigerian was full of euphoria after the match: "Great. I'm happy that I could play and score a goal. That's a good feeling," said the scorer of the interim 2-1 goal. After his meniscus tear at the end of last season, he appears to be in top form just in time for the crucial CL playoff.

The same applies to Samuel Adeniran, who scored twice again after his two goals in the opening match against SV Ried. The 28-year-old American had to be substituted in the second half due to an injury, but his availability against Celtic should not be in jeopardy.

Kühbauer: "I'm glad I have them"

"You could already see that they play well together," Dietmar Kühbauer praised the performance of his top duo in attack to "Sky" and added: "I'm glad I have them."

With the return of Moses Usor, Christoph Lang initially found himself on the bench in the Upper Austria derby. But with his super-sub goal for the 4-1 final score, his second in the Bundesliga and sixth overall, he impressively proved that he can be relied upon unconditionally.

"Super-sub" Lang keeps the competition high

Head coach Dietmar Kühbauer also had only words of praise for the 24-year-old offensive player after the match: "Langi understood that he had to change his game. He's doing that very well now and shows it with his goals. But also in terms of his personal attitude: He gets more involved in duels, and I think that's what often held him back."

This also makes life difficult for the coach when it comes to nominating the starting eleven. "Of course, he puts pressure on the other two strikers. But I think Samu and Mo in particular had a really good game again today. But Langi is putting so much pressure on them that they can't afford to lean back."
