More bad news for Marco Bezzecchi!

The Italian suffered a heavy crash on Saturday during Q2 at Sachsenring in turn seven and, according to Aprilia, sustained a complete fracture and dislocation of his left collarbone.

As a result, Bezzecchi will definitively miss the remainder of the Grand Prix weekend at Sachsenring.

Bezzecchi Needs Surgery

"This type of fracture requires surgery for ideal recovery. The surgery will be performed by Dr. Giuseppe Porcellini in Italy," Aprilia announced.

Ahead of the Sachsenring Sprint, Bezzecchi was in second place in the MotoGP World Championship standings, seven points behind championship leader Jorge Martin.

For a long time, Bezzecchi even led the World Championship, but after a few chaotic consecutive weekends, he lost significant ground.
