Austria's ice hockey export scored his first DEL goal during the Munich Bulls' 4-1 victory in Bremerhaven.
In the 23rd minute, the Munich Ice Bulls intercepted an attack by the Bremerhaven Penguins and launched a counter-attack. After a cross-pass, the Austrian stood free in front of the opposing goal and only had to tap the puck in. The 24-year-old from Villach did just that, scoring to make it 2-0 at the time.
Two Points for Thaler
In the 56th minute, Lucas Thaler was involved again, and it was another counter-attack. Again, Munich intercepted the puck and surged towards the Penguins' goal with a numerical advantage. Thaler passed the puck across to Tobias Rieder, who sealed the 4-1 final score.
