"Let him ask": Ronaldo on collision course at press conference
The Portuguese superstar creates a memorable press conference before the World Cup showdown against Spain.
Cristiano Ronaldo often has to deal with criticism and hostile press comments at the World Cup.
At a press conference before the World Cup match against Spain (at 9 PM in the LIVE ticker >>>), he has now hit back.
Instead of letting the press spokesperson choose the next questioner as usual, Ronaldo himself takes the floor. "Let him ask, he doesn't like me. I want to know if he can ask a good question today," says the 41-year-old, pointing at a journalist.
"The hardest thing is to talk to some of you"
The reporter, visibly surprised, then asks what the hardest thing is about playing in a World Cup at 41 years old.
Ronaldo dryly retorts: "The hardest thing is to talk to some of you. Especially with those who don't like me – you are one of them. I only need one look, and I remember very well."
