That was a brief "stint"!

Herve Renard has stepped down from his coaching position with Tunisia, just 18 days after taking over as national coach.

Following a clear 1-5 opening World Cup defeat against Sweden, the Tunisian federation initially took action and parted ways with the previous coach, Sabri Lamouchi.

However, even the coaching change during the World Cup could not bring about the hoped-for shift in momentum. A clear 0-4 defeat against Japan was followed by a 1-3 loss in the final group match against the Netherlands.

Without a single point and with a goal difference of 1-12, the World Cup adventure ended prematurely.
