Things could happen very quickly now!

Once again, a World Cup campaign for Germany did not go as planned. Since the 2014 World Cup title, the DFB team has disappointed in three consecutive tournaments. Following group stage exits in 2018 and 2022, they were eliminated in the Round of 32 in the USA, Canada, and Mexico.

All Signs Point to a Separation

Head coach Julian Nagelsmann is under severe criticism and his position is consequently in jeopardy. As "Bild" now reports, a separation could happen quickly.

While DFB decision-makers still want to give the 38-year-old a chance to explain himself, sporting director Rudi Völler, one of his last supporters, has now distanced himself from his position.

Klopp Reportedly Ready

According to the report, the DFB has the option to terminate the contract. Nagelsmann would then receive half of his outstanding salary.

Nagelsmann's successor is also expected to be settled quickly. Currently, all signs point to Jürgen Klopp. The star coach would also not be averse to the role, it is said.
