The squad situation for reigning European champions Spain is tense ahead of the round of 32 match against Austria.

Head coach Luis De la Fuente has some question marks, especially in attack.

The Spanish team completed their final training session on Wednesday, simultaneously with the ÖFB team, in Carson, a suburb of Los Angeles, at the stadium of MLS club Los Angeles Galaxy.

Forward Victor Munoz, who had been struggling with calf problems for weeks, trained with the team as he did the day before. The 22-year-old, who moved from Osasuna to Liverpool at the beginning of the month, will at best start on the bench.

Pino Returns to Training - Williams Still Out

Winger Yeremy Pino, who injured his shoulder in the final group stage match against Uruguay (1-0), returned to team training, but his left arm was clearly still restricted in movement.

Originally, a broken collarbone had even been feared. The Crystal Palace professional is unlikely to return to action before a possible round of 16.

It will take even longer for Nico Williams. The Athletic Bilbao attacking star is suffering from an adductor injury. He worked individually on Wednesday, away from the team.
