After the World Cup debacle against Paraguay, it seems no stone will be left unturned in the DFB team.

A major overhaul is likely looming, with national coach Julian Nagelsmann also under discussion and potentially being replaced by Jürgen Klopp (More Info>>>).

"You have to play the youngsters"

"Sky" expert Didi Hamann also calls for a radical fresh start – without several long-standing key players.

According to the 52-year-old, neither captain Joshua Kimmich nor his former Munich teammates Leroy Sané and Leon Goretzka should be part of the DFB squad in the future.

"We should make a fresh start now. You simply have to play the youngsters because we've watched this for too long," said Hamann. As alternatives, he names, among others, Bayern talent Tom Bischof or Stuttgart playmaker Angelo Stiller.

Kimmich wants to continue

While Leroy Sané and Leon Goretzka have not yet commented on their future in the DFB team, Joshua Kimmich hinted at wanting to continue after the embarrassing exit in the round of 32 against underdog Paraguay.

"What I will never do is give up," clarified the 31-year-old.
