Zlatko Dalic is stepping down from his role as coach of the Croatian national team. His expiring contract will not be extended.
The 59-year-old resigns after approximately nine years in office. The resignation follows Croatia's exit from the World Cup in the USA, Canada, and Mexico.
The team, led by veteran star Luka Modric, was defeated 1-2 by Portugal in the Round of 32.
