Investment Plan: First Continental Body Backs Infantino
After much criticism for FIFA's plans, particularly from Europe, the world governing body now receives support.

In a statement, CAF said: "CAF is determined to continue dialogue and cooperation with its member associations, FIFA, other football confederations and stakeholders, to strengthen financial and other resources for the development and growth of football in Africa and worldwide."
A meeting of the Executive Committee will take place next week. The African confederation, with 54 members, holds a significant voting bloc in FIFA.
