Nearing Completion! Austrian International Set to Sign for Lyon
The 25-year-old centre-back is expected to strengthen Olympique Lyon's defence. The move is said to be close to completion.
Felix Bacher is on the verge of a significant step in his career.
As reported by "Sky", the East Tyrolean native is reportedly close to a move to French top club Olympique Lyon. Although his current club Estoril Praia is said to have rejected the initial offer of four million euros, they are reportedly satisfied with an additional million. An agreement is said to be imminent.
Bacher would thus join the ranks of the most expensive departures from the Portuguese club. Currently, Estoril's most expensive departure is the transfer of Kevin Boma to Red Bull Salzburg, which reportedly involved around seven million euros.
Rapid Rise
After three seasons in the ADMIRAL Bundesliga with WSG Tirol, he made the leap abroad to Estoril.
With the Portuguese side, he quickly became a regular starter. Last season, he played the full 90 minutes in all 34 matches of the Portuguese league.
