Austria Wien Women are in the UEFA Women's Champions League group stage for the first time!

Forward Modesta Uka almost single-handedly fired Austria's double winners to a 4-0 home victory over SK Brann in the second leg. In the first leg in Norway, the Viennese team had suffered a 1-2 defeat.

Austria laid the foundation for advancement already in the first half. Stefan Kenesei's team started the game with a lot of energy. Hanshaw's shot hit the side netting (9.).

After approximately 20 minutes, the referee correctly pointed to the spot. Uka was brought down in the penalty area. The fouled player stepped up herself and confidently converted for a 1-0 lead into the bottom left corner (19.).

The Norwegians only had a brief spell of pressure before the break. Austria goalkeeper Pal had no problems with Kvamme's shot (40.).

Uka bags a hat-trick

In the second half, the Violets impressively followed up. A Uka shot dipped perfectly into the goal (50.).

A quarter of an hour later, Brann goalkeeper Skoglund inadvertently assisted. A backpass slipped under her foot - 3-0 for Austria (65.).

In the final phase, Uka extended the lead to 4-0 with a direct free-kick goal (77.).

SKN St. Pölten will be challenged in the second leg tomorrow, Wednesday, in Italy against Juventus. The first leg was lost 0-3.
