Julia Magerl found the net on Sunday in the German Women's Bundesliga. The Austrian international defender scored the second goal in the 40th minute during her club Werder Bremen's 2-0 home victory against RB Leipzig.

Alongside her, Mariella El Sherif, Chiara D'Angelo, and Lilli Purtscheller, who was substituted on in the 69th minute, also celebrated the second win. Leipzig, with Annabel Schasching playing the full match, is still without a point.

Already on Saturday, Nicole Billa had fired VfB Stuttgart to a 2-1 victory against Hamburger SV.

In the Italian Serie A Women's Cup, Austrian goalkeeper Larissa Rusek made her first appearance of the season in Juventus Turin's 1-0 win against Como. Whether she will also play on Wednesday in the Champions League qualification home return leg against SKN St. Pölten remains to be seen.
