It's hard to believe!

Djibril Sidibé of French club Le Mans FC was actually making his debut for the promoted team on the second matchday of Ligue 1. However, his first appearance ended prematurely after just a few seconds.

The 2018 French ex-World Champion was initially substituted on in the 68th minute. Just a few seconds later, he attempted to clear a situation at the centre circle.

However, the 34-year-old struck his opponent Estéban Lepaul on the shin and was shown a red card for it. Without a single touch of the ball, the Frenchman therefore left the pitch again.

Ultimately, the French investor-backed club also lost the match 2-3.

Fastest Dismissal for a Substitute in France

With this, the Frenchman even set a historic negative record. No substitute "joker" has ever had to leave the pitch earlier after a red card.

Previously, it was Benjamin Mendy, a former Manchester City player, during a match for Olympique Marseille eleven years ago (47 seconds).
