Wiener Viktoria secures their first win of the season in the Regionalliga Ost, triumphing 3:1. Forward Deniz Pehlivan was the match-winner.

Mattersburger Sportverein 2020 has not yet found their stride this season and is still waiting for their first points in the Regionalliga Ost.

The home team laid the groundwork for the win already in the first half. Pehlivan opened the scoring in the 27th minute and completed his brace shortly after (34th). They went into halftime with a 2:0 lead.

Mattersburg got off to a perfect start after the break and quickly got a goal back through Lukas Secco from the penalty spot (47th). However, shortly before the end, Benedikt Martic put the game beyond doubt, securing the 3:1 final score with his goal (79th).

Mattersburg and Wienerberg are thus at the bottom of the Regionalliga Ost table without any points. Wiener Viktoria, on the other hand, climbs to twelfth place.
