Christopher Drazan surprises lower-league club with resignation
The season started well under the former Rapid pro. However, after a disagreement, he apparently no longer wants to continue.
Former Rapid pro Christopher Drazan took over his first head coach position with Katzelsdorf in the 2. Landesliga Ost at the beginning of December 2025.
He finished his first season in eighth place. With 15 points from six games and second place, the new season started very well.
Differences of Opinion
However, the club must now look for a new coach. "Coach Christopher Drazan is surprisingly ending his coaching activity with the club. After a joint discussion, unfortunately, minor differences of opinion arose. Further cooperation was no longer possible for him," the club wrote on "Instagram".
"Things simply happened internally that cannot be tolerated," Drazan told the "NÖN". He was also likely criticized. "You can talk about one or two points, but how that unfolded was not okay. If you have to justify every lineup, that doesn't work for me," said the club's former coach.
