The defensive midfielder moves from Manchester City to the Catalans for 60 million euros.
With bonus payments, the transfer fee can rise to up to 75 million euros.
Long-term Contract with the Catalans
Just in July, Rodri crowned himself world champion in the World Cup final against Argentina, celebrating the greatest success of his career. He had already won the Champions League with Manchester City in 2023. A year later, the midfielder was awarded the Ballon d’Or.
Furthermore, Rodri won the English championship four times with the "Skyblues". The Spanish international signs a four-year contract with FC Barcelona until June 2030.
