Sergio Busquets is back at FC Barcelona
The 38-year-old returns to his beloved club, taking on a new role.
Sergio Busquets (38) can confidently be called an FC Barcelona legend.
Three Champions League titles, nine league championships, and seven cup victories speak for themselves.
Between 2008 and 2023, he played for the club that developed him. Then followed the Inter Miami adventure, where he played until the end of 2025 alongside former teammates Lionel Messi, Jordi Alba, and Sergio Busquets.
Return to former team
After his career ended, the next chapter now begins for the 2010 World Cup winner, and for that, he returns to Barcelona.
According to "Mundo Deportivo", Busquets will become assistant coach to Juliano Belletti at Barca Athletic.
The team is currently in the fourth division. Busquets also once played for the Catalan B-team.
