Injured on international duty: Barcelona fears for key player
The Barcelona star had to be substituted at halftime. Shortly before, he had scored his 12th international goal.
Raphinha had to be substituted during Brazil's 4-2 international friendly win against Australia due to muscular problems.
As confirmed by the Brazilian FA, the Barcelona star is struggling with issues in his right thigh. The 29-year-old was plagued by similar complaints repeatedly last year.
Substituted at Halftime
To avoid any risks, Raphinha was substituted at halftime. Shortly before, he had scored the temporary equalizer to make it 2-2 from a penalty kick.
An absence would be particularly bitter: The attacking star has recorded at least one goal contribution in every single game for club and national team this season and already has 15 goal involvements.
In La Liga alone, Raphinha has already scored twelve goals in seven games.
