Real Rival Interested: Is Sergio Ramos Returning to Spain?

Sergio Ramos could return to Spain.

This scenario was fueled by Getafe's president on the radio show "Tablero Deportivo."

"He could come, because this is a topic we've been working on for some time," says Torres.

Move to Madrid?

Accordingly, Ramos could follow in the footsteps of his former teammate Dani Carvajal and sign with the league rival of his old love, Real Madrid.

Since his departure from Mexican club CF Monterrey, the 40-year-old defensive legend has been without a club – and is therefore available on a free transfer.

Ramos has only played for FC Sevilla and Real Madrid in Spain so far. Besides PSG and most recently Monterrey, the club located in a suburb of Madrid would be the fifth career stop for the World and European champion.
