LaLiga Starting XI Debut for Austrian Talent Called Off
Heavy rain in Valencia led to a match cancellation. Football was out of the question.
Austrian talent Ifeanyi Ndukwe (18) recently made his LaLiga debut for his loan club UD Levante as a substitute against FC Barcelona.
On Wednesday, his starting XI debut in the league of the world champion was supposed to follow in the home match against Athletic Bilbao.
Cancellation After Warm-up
However, nothing came of it, as images show, the match in Valencia fell victim to heavy rain. The pitch at Ciutat de Valencia was unplayable.
The players started warming up, but ten minutes before kick-off, the match was cancelled. The game must be postponed to a new date. However, a fixture already on Thursday is unlikely due to a Bilbao match on Saturday.
