FC Barcelona remains the flawless leader in the current La Liga season.

On the sixth matchday, the Catalans clearly defeated promoted side Racing Santander 7-2.

Hansi Flick's men had reason to celebrate for the first time as early as the eighth minute. Cancelo measured up outside the box and spectacularly curled the ball into the top right corner.

Barca remained clearly superior, and in the 22nd minute, a penalty was awarded after a foul by Pedro Felipe on Raphinha. The fouled player stepped up himself and confidently converted it for a 2-0 lead (25').

However, the visitors were not entirely without chances, and their first real attack in the 30th minute immediately resulted in a goal. Gueye pulled one back. But shortly after, an own goal made it 1-3 from Racing Santander's perspective.

With his brace, Raphinha extended the lead to 4-1 before halftime (42'). In the 45th minute, Lamine Yamal missed another penalty, saved by Agirrezabala. Zabiri even reduced the deficit to 2-4 for the visitors in the 65th minute, only for Raphinha to score his third goal shortly after - again from the penalty spot - making it 5-2 (67').

In the 71st minute, a goal by Lamine Yamal was disallowed due to offside, but Jesus allowed Barcelona to celebrate reaching half a dozen goals (79'). Youngster Yamal also managed to get on the scoresheet shortly before the final whistle (89').

With 18 points, Hansi Flick's men remain the unbeaten leaders of La Liga.
