Alaba's No. 4 jersey at Real Madrid re-assigned
The number four is one of the most prestigious jersey numbers for the "Royals". Following David Alaba's departure, its new wearer has now been determined.
Dean Huijsen will wear the number four jersey for Real Madrid starting next season.
The center-back thus takes over the number from ÖFB captain David Alaba, who wore it for the past five years.

Before Alaba, Real legend and long-time captain Sergio Ramos also wore the prestigious number for years.
Even earlier, Fernando Hierro also wore the four for the "Royals".
Praise for Alaba
Dean Huijsen writes on Instagram: "It has always been my dream to play for Real Madrid and wear the number 4 jersey. As a child, Sergio Ramos was always my great idol, the one who wore the number 4 jersey and became a true legend for Real Madrid and world football."
Huijsen also has only words of praise for ÖFB captain David Alaba: "Later, another great football legend wore this number, and I had the pleasure of being in a changing room with him. David Alaba was undoubtedly one of the best teammates and people I have met in this sport. He always worked hard and was always ready to support everyone with his experience and leadership."
