Aubameyang moves to Spain

The now 37-year-old Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang returns to Spain!

As reported on Friday, the striker signs for La Liga promoted side Deportivo A Coruña.

"With this signing, RC Deportivo gains a world-renowned striker for its squad," the former Spanish top club, which became La Liga champions in 1999/2000, rejoices over the high-profile new acquisition.

The Gabonese player signs until the end of the 2027/28 season with RC Deportivo.

Most recently under contract in Marseille

For Aubameyang, it is a return to Spain. The African already played for FC Barcelona for half a year in 2022.

Most recently, Aubameyang, who also played for top clubs like AC Milan, Borussia Dortmund, Arsenal FC, and Chelsea FC, was under contract with Olympique Marseille. In Ligue 1 last season, he scored ten goals and provided six assists in 30 appearances.
