Due to Alvarez: Atletico files complaint with FIFA
Atletico accuses league rival FC Barcelona of unauthorized contact with the forward.
Another chapter in the Julian Alvarez saga!
The Argentine striker had expressed his desire to leave during the World Cup (read more here >>>). Atletico Madrid had rejected an offer of more than 150 million from Real Madrid.
FC Barcelona had also shown interest in the 26-year-old. Against them, Atletico has now filed a complaint with FIFA. As reported by the AFP agency, they accuse the Catalans of unauthorized contact.
Atletico is also said to have contacted the Spanish Football Federation.
