Could Vinicius Junior soon be playing in the Premier League?
According to transfer expert David Ornstein of "The Athletic," Arsenal are currently exploring a transfer for the Real Madrid star player.
Reportedly, Vini Jr. is at the top of the reigning English champions' wishlist. However, Arsenal's interest is still in an early stage. There have been no talks between the "Gunners" and Real so far.
Contract Expires Next Year
The winger has been playing for the "Royals" since 2018, making 375 appearances for the club, scoring 128 goals and providing 100 assists. However, the Brazilian is heading into his final contract year, with his deal in Madrid only running until 2027.
So far, no breakthrough has apparently been achieved in negotiations between Real and Vini Jr. Real is reportedly unwilling to risk a free transfer. This is also because the player would be entitled to a well-remunerated loyalty bonus next season.
