Ndukwe Subbed On in Levante Defeat
The Austrian talent makes his second La Liga appearance against Villarreal.
Villarreal secured a 3-1 victory against UD Levante on matchday seven of La Liga.
Austrian talent Ifeanyi Ndukwe was subbed on in the second half and played for 27 minutes.
The hosts took the lead in the 41st minute. Moleiro and Perez combined perfectly through Levante's defense, with Perez successfully finishing for a 1-0 lead. One minute later, Romero equalized for Levante, making it 1-1.
After the restart in the second half, Moleiro extended the lead to 2-1. Before Levante and Ndukwe could muster a final effort, Mikautadze sealed the 3-1 victory in the 86th minute.
With the win, Villarreal moved into the upper half of the table, while Levante remained in 17th place.
