Salzburg in a state of emergency! Terror threat due to Supercup
On Wednesday, Paris Saint-Germain and Aston Villa will play for the UEFA Supercup in Salzburg. The large crowd of people is causing problems for the police.

At the stadium in Wals-Siezenheim on Wednesday (August 12), around 30,000 fans are expected for the UEFA Supercup between Champions League winners Paris Saint-Germain and Europa League winners Aston Villa.

Police on alert
According to the "Krone", around 800 police officers are deployed. Law enforcement has even requested personnel from surrounding federal states.
State Police Director Bernhard Rausch explained: "We currently face a heightened, abstract terror threat. Given the current climate, it is necessary to take appropriate precautionary measures."
Numerous prominent figures are expected. French President Emmanuel Macron and Prince William from England have been invited to the game.
