LASK Opponent Parts Ways With Key Player
The Turkish top club lets attacking player Talisca leave for the United Arab Emirates on a free transfer.
Fenerbahce Istanbul is parting ways with Talisca.
As reported by the Turkish top club on Friday, the contract of the 32-year-old Brazilian was terminated by mutual consent.
Talisca's new club has also already been confirmed: he is moving to the United Arab Emirates and signing with Al-Jazira.
Fenerbahce's Top Scorer
The attacking player had been playing for Fenerbahce since January 2025. In 77 competitive matches, he contributed a strong 44 goals (seven assists). Last season, he was the club's top scorer with 27 goals.
This season, Talisca has also been a regular, scoring five times in seven competitive matches – including two goals in the Champions League qualification against SK Sturm Graz.
No Duel With LASK
There will therefore be no renewed duel for Talisca with an Austrian club in the Champions League group stage. Fenerbahce will face LASK away from home on December 9.
Even with Talisca's departure, Fenerbahce's attack remains well-stocked. This summer alone, they signed Romelu Lukaku, Mason Greenwood, and Vedat Muriqi.
