Austrian Expat Monsberger Bags a Brace Against Daniliuc and Basel
These were already the Carinthian's fifth and sixth goals of the season for the Liechtenstein club.
Marcel Monsberger continues to be in excellent form for promoted club FC Vaduz.
The 25-year-old Carinthian scored a brace on the 10th matchday of the Swiss Super League in a 3-0 victory against FC Basel. The Austrian striker put his team on track already in the first half.
Even Austrian defender Flavius Daniliuc, who played the full match for Basel, could not stop Monsberger. Monsberger played until the 90th minute.
For the former FAC player, who moved from Bregenz to Liechtenstein in 2025, these are already his fifth and sixth goals of the season.
