Nine-Goal Madness! Dursun's Club Celebrates Incredible Comeback
The Austrian legionnaire gives his club an early lead. Afterwards, a spectacular back-and-forth unfolds with an incredible comeback.
A true goal fest unfolded in the match between FC Thun, the club of Austrian legionnaire Furkan Dursun, and Lausanne-Sport. The Swiss champions won 5-4 on the 12th matchday of the Super League after trailing 1-4.
Dursun gave his team a 1-0 lead as early as the twelfth minute. However, Lausanne-Sport subsequently turned the game around and extended their lead to 4-1. The comfortable three-goal lead held until the 70th minute.
Completely Crazy Final Phase
However, Thun then launched a furious comeback: Labeau (70th minute), Braschi (81st minute), and an own goal by Sow (86th minute) ensured a 4-4 equalizer within just 16 minutes.
But that wasn't all: Labeau struck again, completing his brace and sealing the spectacular comeback with the winning goal to make it 5-4 (90+6).
Furkan Dursun was on the field until the 61st minute. He has three goals and four assists in nine games in the Swiss Super League.
After twelve rounds, Thun sits in ninth place, while FC Lugano is comfortably leading the league.
