Former Frankfurt Coach Takes Over Arnautovic's Club

The two Austrian internationals Marko Arnautovic and Muhammed Cham have a new head coach at Red Star Belgrade!

What had already been hinted at is now official: Albert Riera succeeds Dejan Stankovic. The 49-year-old had resigned on Wednesday night after missing out on Champions League qualification (All info >>>).

With Riera comes a coach who was under contract with Eintracht Frankfurt until summer. However, the 44-year-old Spaniard was dismissed after just 14 games. In Germany, the eccentric coach had left his mark and some scorched earth.

Before his time in Frankfurt, Riera was also coach at NK Celje, Bordeaux, and NK Olimpija. Now, he is attempting a fresh start at the Serbian record champions.
